Are you concerned about SEO?

For over a year now I have been learning about SEO. I don't consider myself an expert but I think I am fairly knowledgeable on the subject.

The thing about SEO is that once you learned about all the different aspects of it. You're website is still not ranking higher. You have to take action and sometimes this can look overwhelming. At least for me.

Now my site, FlashNetBiz.com wasn't structured with SEO in mind. I would have to do a major overall of the whole site, which I intend to do in the next few weeks.

But my idea is to let you know what I have learned. Would that be useful to you?

Can you let me know if there is any part of SEO you would like me to shed some light on for you?

Comment référencer vos vidéos

Peu de gens le savent. Mais il est possible d'améliorer votre référencement grâce à la vidéo.

Google vous offre un plan de site (sitemap) vidéo. Il s'agit ici d'ajouter un plan de site spécial XML qui référence vos vidéos pour les recherches de vidéos sur le site Google. Les formats acceptés sont:

• .mpg
• .mpeg
• .mp4
• .mov
• .wmv
• .asf
• .avi
• .ra
• .ram
• .rm
• .flv

L'important ici est d'utiliser vos mots-clés dans votre titre, descriptions, etc...

Vous pouvez maintenant donner un coup de pouce à votre positionnement internet
en utilisant ce nouveau standard de sitemap en y inscrivant les vidéos de votre site.

Yahoo vous offre une autre forme de référencement avec son media RSS (mRSS).

Exalead vient juste d'accepter le même format et référence désormais les vidéos de YouTube, DailyMotion et MetaCafe.

Voilà, l'année 2008 est déjà commencée et nous pouvons certifié, sans trop se tromper, que ce sera une autre année charnière dans le domaine du ecommerce.

Les opportunités abondent et ce n'est pas le moment de perdre le cap.

Une stratégie doit être mis-en-place pour augmenter votre trafic et votre conversion.
La stratégie gagnante reste le testing de vos mots-clés sur le PPC ou référencement payant, et le référencement naturel.

Google nous réservera quelques surprises sans doute. Ils l'ont fait abondemment en 2007 et il va surement se passer beaucoup de choses du côté de la vidéo et du web 2.0 cette année.

Celà aussi fera partie de ma stratégie webmarketing pour 2008. Surtout la vidéo.
Je pense même à faire un essai, et publier mon propre produit de tutoriel sur la vidéo comme outil de webmarketing...qu'en pensez-vous?

A New Start For The New Year

Happy New Year!

Well, it's already january 11 and I hope you had a nice Holiday.

What a busy year. With a new project and a growing family, time management is of prime importance. I have been listening to Brian Tracy's 'Eat that frog!' in my car for the last few days and I can certainly recommend this one for the busy entrepreneur.

Brian Tracy needs no introduction and I can honestly say that I will heed his advice.

My new project has kept me away from this blog. But I intend to step up the pace as far as writing
to this blog more often. But, let me tell you that I will be making some changes.

I will start posting in french real soon. So don't be surprised if you don't recognize the language on some of my future posts. But don't worry, I will still be posting in english regularly.

My new project is a new french site I launched back in october: SeoNetBiz.com
It's all about SEO as you might have guessed.
